The Body Shop Education Programme is creating a buzz. Developed to give the next generation of consumers the knowledge to consider the global impact of what they buy locally, the programme brings real-life context and discussion of ethical, sustainable practices into the classroom to enable future generations to make informed choices.

With a brand focus on The Body Shop’s Coconut Butter, we developed a host of curriculum linked resources based on the journey from ‘plant to pot’. KS4 students can consider how each decision made affects the sustainable integrity of the whole supply chain.

We especially like what Glamour Online (opens in new tab) and the Independent (opens in new tab) had to say following its release on World Environment Day.

The Body Shop polled 1,000 teenagers (aged 14-16) about their attitudes towards sustainability. They found that 80 per cent feel their generation is under pressure to solve environmental issues, yet 44 per cent of students say they never or rarely hear about sustainability in the classroom.
